Willie Horton

When I was growing up, on occasion a face like Willie Horton's would be shown on the news. My Dad, never one to spout racist epithets, would sometimes quietly mutter under his breath, a bit disgusted and sarcastic, "That's intelligent."

I apologize for not running away from home to teach him a lesson.

Hello. I feel I must apologize (if you wouldn't mind allowing me on this blog) because I have done something horrible. On only my second day of blogging, I have recommended that others read Thomas Woods' book on history. As if that weren't enough, I also compared politicians to burglars and compared the Federal Reserve to a man dumping diamonds down a sewer grate. I apologize profusely and realize that I deserve to be taken to Room 101.
